Week 2: at Minnesota Vikings

You can bet the Lions have heard the chatter around the league pegging the Vikings as a team to watch this season while prognosticators have been bearish on the Lions’ following last year’s 11-win season. The Vikings very well may be a team on the rise but the Lions have eyes on moving up int he division, not down.

I look for the Lions to come out and play very well in week two – hopefully a little closer to full strength with an improving injury situation. This may be the most winnable game in the first quarter of the season so it is of utmost importance for the Lions to leave Minneapolis with a W.

Prediction: Win (1-1)
