Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers: Game Time, TV, Radio, Injury Report

facebooktwitterreddit

A lot has happened with the Detroit Lions since they last time they took the field against the Kansas City Chiefs in London two weeks ago.

Martin Mayhew and Tom Lewand were fired as the executives in charge of the team’s front office and the expectation is that Jim Caldwell will be the next to go, either later this season if things fall further apart or after the season when a permanent front office is put into place. The uncertainty regarding the general manager position has led to swirling speculation about the futures of players like Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson.

Now back from their bye, the Lions will surely feel good about getting back to football, even if it is a road game against the Green Bay Packers – a situation they haven’t won in since 1991.

Whether they break that streak or not is irrelevant at this point with the team sitting at 1-7, but it would be a sliver of light in an otherwise dreadful season that started with high expectations.
