The Michigan basketball team hosts on Rutgers on Wednesday night. Here’s how you can find the game on TV or watch online.

The Michigan Wolverines enter Wednesday night’s game versus the Rutgers Scarlet Knights riding a two-game winning streak. It’s the first such example of back-to-back victories for the Michigan basketball team since they lost senior Caris LeVert to injury in late December.

Michigan head coach John Beilein says LeVert will not make his return to the court against Rutgers, but he hopes to have the team’s leading scorer back soon.

"“Things continue to go in the right direction, but he is not ready yet. We hope it is very soon, but he is moving in the right direction.”"

But even without their best player, the Wolverines have made a strong showing to being the conference slate. They’re 5-2 in the Big Ten and currently stand in fourth place in the league.

Michigan’s two conference losses came against ranked opponents on the road — at No. 3 Iowa and at No. 21 Purdue — but they vanquished No. 8 Maryland at home in between.

Tonight’s game will mark the beginning of a four-game home stand for the Michigan basketball team, a rare stretch in conference play. After Rutgers (0-7 Big Ten) it will be Penn State (2-6) followed by No. 19 Indiana (7-1) and No. 12 Michigan State (4-4).

LeVert shouldn’t be critical to the team’s success against Rutgers and Penn State but whether or not he returns in time to face the ranked opponents remains to be seen.
