Detroit Red Wings vs. Buffalo Sabres: Game Time, TV, Radio, Live Stream
By Mike Rizzo
The Detroit Red Wings look to rebound after Saturday’s embarrassing loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Red Wings welcome the Buffalo Sabres to town.
The Detroit Red Wings were embarrassed on Saturday by the Pittsburgh Penguins 7-2. Petr Mrazek, for the second time this year against the Penguins, got pulled late in the second period.
The loss for the Red Wings on Saturday clinched the season sweep for the Penguins for the season, even worse, the Penguins blew out the Red Wings in all three games. 5-2 on New Years Eve, 6-3 on February 18th and 7-2 on Sunday.
The fans booed the Red Wings off the ice and it was deserved. This team has to start playing better. Lately goaltending has been a major problem for this team. Mrazek hasn’t been the same since his groin injury but the defense hasn’t helped either him or Jimmy Howard.
The Red Wings got a major break on Saturday night as the Arizona Coyotes beat the Philadelphia Flyers in regulation to keep the Red Wings tied with the Flyers.
With the Red Wings playing the Buffalo Sabres tonight, this is a must win game for them. The Flyers play Winnipeg in Philly tonight so the Red Wings need to take care of their business tonight.
As of this writing no starter has been announced yet for the Red Wings. It’s anybody’s guess on who Jeff Blashill names. My guess is Jimmy Howard.
Here is all the information for tonight’s game:

This is a must win game for the Red Wings. They can’t afford to lose to a team that they should beat. I think the Red Wings pull off a win and get some help from the Jets.
