17. player. 63. I hate to have to drop a team 10 spots in the rankings, but the Tigers are coming off a terrible week dropping 5 of their 6 games. We knew pitching might be a concern comingg into the season, but its been the hitting that really has been terrible so far with the exception of a few players. If you look at team averages, the Tigers are up near the top of the league. However, they haven’t been able to get big hits when they need them and dropped to under .500 for the first time this year.. 9-9. Last Week: 7. Detroit Tigers

Sweeping the always pesky Giants on the road shows how much strength this team has despite not having one of their best players in their lineup.
