MLB Power Rankings: 26-30

The Braves are the only team still left with single digit wins and that is really about the most interesting thing I can say about them. This past week brought them losses in 5 of the 6 games they play which is pretty much par for the course.. 9-28. Last Week: 30. Atlanta Braves . 30. player. 17

10-27. Last Week: 29. Minnesota Twins . 29. player. 2. Back to back sweeps by the Orioles and White Sox have put the Twins 10.5 games back from first place in only a quarter of the season. For a team that has this much talent, its a surprise to see them this far behind and this bad to start the year. Rookie Byung Ho Park looks to be a legit power hitter though as he now has 9 homers early in his first year.

61. Cincinnati continues to set right at the bottom of the league in almost every major pitching stat. They have also offered more free passes than any other team in baseball. 4 one run losses in a week for a team that walks more batters than anyone else tells you what you need to know.. 15-23. Last Week: 25. Cincinnati Reds . 28. player

27. player. 76. 4 games in a row against the Padres showed just how bad these two teams truly are. They split the series which kind of makes sense. The Brewers still sit dead last in ERA following four games against one of the worst hitting teams in the league.. 16-22. Last Week: 26. Milwaukee Brewers

player. 127. Houston has taken over as the most strikeout prone team in baseball as the Padres have been just a touch better over the past two weeks. A double-header win against the Cubs will likely be the highlight of what will be a losing season. Back to back wins against the best team in baseball didn’t stop them from splitting with the horrible Brewers.. 17-22. Last Week: 27. San Diego Padres . 26
