Larry Murphy: The Red Wings acquired Murphy at the 1997 trade deadline from the Toronto Maple Leafs and he resurrected his career here. Murphy was hated in Toronto, which I think is the reason why they were able to acquire him for so little. Murphy scored his share of goals during his run with the Red Wings, scoring ten or more in three of his four full seasons in Detroit.
