Watch the NBA’s next generation of stars join their new teams during the 2017 NBA Draft on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN.

The 2017 NBA Draft will begin on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Philadelphia 76ers will be on the clock first after trading for the pick on June 19 from the Boston Celtics, who acquired the pick from the Brooklyn Nets in 2013 and won the first pick in the league’s draft lottery on May 16.

The Detroit Pistons have only one pick in this year’s draft—the 12th pick of the first round—after they traded their second round pick away in a three-team trade in 2015, in which the team acquired Reggie Jackson. Several different players have been mocked to the Pistons, including Duke guard Luke Kennard, Gonzaga center Zach Collins and Louisville guard Donovan Mitchell.

General manager Jeff Bower said before the draft lottery, “I think the quality of the draft is pretty good… There’s a group of players we think that are probably going to be all in similar talent ranges that we’ll be able to add to our team.” The Pistons finished 37-45 in 2016-17, finishing last in the Central division and four games out of the playoffs in the Eastern Conference.

The Los Angeles Lakers—led by new president and former Michigan State Spartan Magic Johnson—will pick second, and the Celtics, Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings round out the top five.
