The Detroit Lions have had a busy NFL offseason, and their ride will reach the next destination on Wednesday when this year's organized team activities (OTAs) begin. Lions fans are brimming with excitement to see Dan Campbell's squad hit the gridiron following last year's 15-win performance, and the upcoming OTAs will give the fanbase a better idea if Detroit can replicate that success.

The Lions have a plethora of big-name stars who can't wait to showcase their offseason improvements, as well as hungry rookies look for a taste of the NFL action. When it comes to Detroit's latest crop of rookies, one first-year name has surprisingly flown under the radar since hearing his name called in Green Bay last month.

Lions Rookie OL Miles Frazier is Flying Under the Radar

The Lions selected seven rookie talents throughout the 2025 NFL draft, including offensive lineman Miles Frazier. The promising blocker was drafted 171st overall in April after spending two seasons at Florida International followed by another three at LSU.

It isn't surprising if some Lions fans are still hearing about Frazier for the first time in May's last week. Not only are Day 3 selection not often talked about due to where they fell in the draft, but offensive lineman rarely garner much attention in general unless they're already established as one of the best at their position.

It doesn't help that the Lions also drafted Georgia OL Tate Ratledge 114 picks ahead of Frazier, which may have overshadowed the ex-Tiger.

Despite the lack of offseason attention, Frazier still has the tools to be a force in the Motor City. With a 6-foot-6, 317-pound frame, the Camden, NJ native already has the size to handle opposing NFL defenders. His reliable hands and patience help put him in the right place at the right time, and his quick recovery rate helps him rebound on the off chance he's caught out of position.

Frazier more than proved what he can do with a personal-best 88.0 pass Pro Football Focus pass protection grade after giving up 13 pressures without a sack across 902 blocking downs. He also has experience playing every OL position except center, opening the door for the various ways he can be used in Campbell's lineup.

Between his physical attributes, proven track record, and versatility, Frazier is someone who won't remain under the radar for long. It'll only be a matter of time before his hard-working style makes him a fan favorite throughout Detroit.
