The Detroit Tigers just finished up the 2021 MLB Draft and are working to sign the 20 players that they drafted. Who’s to say that we should not look into the crystal ball? It’s quite early, but there’s a lot of exciting talent at the top level of the 2022 draft class, and why not keep the draft talk going?

There’s no telling where the Detroit Tigers will end up in the draft order, but it seems like another top-ten pick is in store for them. There has been some progress in 2021; the team is better than it has been, but they will likely be getting top talent.

After selecting high-school pitcher Jackson Jobe with the third overall pick in the 2021 First-Year Amateur Player Draft, they are going to get another solid pick. I’ll admit, it’s way too early to narrow a list down tightly, but there are some players that fans should keep an eye on.

In that case, this piece contains five players that fans should keep their eyes on as the months go by. The Tigers could end up anywhere from a near top-five selection down to a middle-of-the-pack selection between picks ten and twenty.

This is not the only crystal ball-type piece. Media outlets like Bleacher Report, Perfect Game, and  Prospects Live (to name a few) have already pushed their own 2022 draft content. Why not join in on the trend and give the draft fans what they want?

That being said…
