The Detroit Lions are already dealing with a long list of injuries, especially on the defensive end. The last thing they needed was the injury bug spreading to the offensive side of the ball. That is why Lions fans didn't like seeing the name Amon-Ra St. Brown popping up unexpectedly on the injury report on Wednesday. Detroit's star receiver didn't participate in the practice due to a wrist injury, raising questions about his availability for the clash with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Fast forward 24 hours, and those concerns have been wiped away. Jeremy Reisman of The Pride of Detroit reported that St. Brown was back at practice on Thursday, leaving little doubt that he will suit up on Sunday.

Wideout/returner Kalif Raymond also returned to practice on Thursday, meaning that the only big absence on offense is tackle Taylor Decker. The Lions will likely have to make a decision between Dan Skipper and Giovanni Manu at left tackle, but other than that, they should have their full complement of players to have their usual dynamic offense ready to go.
St. Brown's wrist injury was particularly concerning since he has long been one of the most durable players in the league. The 25-year-old receiver has only missed two games in his NFL career, and it's a great sign that he is not ready to miss his third any time soon.
The All-Pro receiver is on pace for his fourth straight 1,000-yard season as he keeps getting better each year. He has his highest catch rate and receiving success rate through five games, and is on pace to shatter his career high in touchdowns in a season.
As a result, the Lions have scored the most points, have the most passing touchdowns, and rank in the top five in net yards gained per pass attempt. Despite a relatively quiet start by Jameson Williams and a slow integration for rookie Isaac TeSlaa, the Lions' passing game didn't suffer at all. Against a solid Chiefs defense led by respected defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, the Lions will have St. Brown as their biggest offensive threat.
This will be the second time St. Brown will face off against the Chiefs. The first game was in the 2023 season opener, where the Lions came away with the win on the road behind St. Brown's six catches, 71 yards, and a touchdown. Lions fans are hoping for the repeat of that performance come Sunday now that injury concerns have officially been put to bed.
