The Michigan Wolverines suffered a beat down last night against Penn State 42-13. This was not a easy selection but someone has to get the game ball.

The Michigan Wolverines limp back to Ann Arbor after getting embarrassed by Penn State last night. Penn State got some revenge after Michigan destroyed them last year at the Big House. Michigan’s struggles continued tonight. The offense struggling isn’t a surprise but even their defense was exposed.

Michigan was down 14-0 after the first quarter but they cut the deficit down to one close to halftime on a Ty Issac touchdown. Well, Penn State ended up scoring the next 28 points. Michigan’s Big Ten title hopes are gone and I think it’s time for the Wolverines to give Brandon Peters a look.

John O’Korn just hasn’t gotten the job done since Wilton Speight got hurt against Purdue. It hasn’t all been O’Korn’s fault but the team needs a spark.

The game ball for tonight’s game goes to Karan Higdon for the second straight week. He had 45 yards and a touchdown. That just shows how bad this game was for the Wolverines when he gets the game ball for this embarrassing game.

Michigan has three winnable games coming up before facing Wisconsin and Ohio State. If Michigan can beat Rutgers, Minnesota, Maryland and one of their final two games, they might be able to salvage this season.

Hopefully this is Michigan’s worst performance of the season. Even the Wolverines vaunted defense was exposed tonight. The Wolverines have a lot of frustration after losing to Michigan State, committing 16 penalties against Indiana and now the embarrassing loss to Penn State. Is it time for Michigan to give Brandon Peters a shot? Let us know in the comments!
