The Michigan Wolverines rebounded against Rutgers after an embarrassing loss last week to Penn State. Who gets the game ball for today’s win?

The Michigan Wolverines got back on track today after beating Rutgers. Michigan started slowly…AGAIN, O’Korn looked shaky….AGAIN and the game was tied at seven early in the second quarter.

Jim Harbaugh finally made the decision the fans were waiting for by bringing in Brandon Peters. Peters played well and energized the team and fans. Peters threw a beautiful TD pass to Chris Evans in the dying seconds of the half to give Michigan a 21-7 lead at halftime.

Peters will get the start next Saturday against Minnesota according to Harbaugh. That’s the right move in my opinion.

My player of the game though again is Karan Higdon. Higdon today rushed for over 150 yards and had two touchdowns. Higdon gets the game ball for the third time this season. Higdon has been one of the MVP’s for Michigan so far this season.

He has eight touchdowns so far this season and has already rushed for more yards than he did all of last season. Higdon has scored a touchdown in three straight games and has a touchdown in five of the eight Michigan games.

Even though this game was against Rutgers, this was a promising sign for the Michigan offense. This offense will get a bigger test next Saturday against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Do you agree with my game ball pick? How do you think Peters did today? Let us know in the comments!
