The Michigan Wolverines fell to the Ohio State Buckeyes today 31-20. Who gets the game ball for the regular season finale?

The Michigan Wolverines had another frustrating game against the Ohio State Buckeyes today. The Wolverines, like last year, had a big lead and couldn’t hold it. Michigan led 14-0 early in the second quarter and the game really turned mid way in the second.

Josh Metellus dropped an interception near the goal line and JT Barrett made Michigan pay, as a couple plays later, he ran in for the touchdown. The Buckeyes would score another quick touchdown and the game would be tied at the half.

The Wolverines would regain the lead but they had the extra point blocked so Michigan only led by six.

JT Barrett got hurt midway through the third quarter and red shirt freshman Dwayne Haskins was forced into action.

Haskins was very good as he led a touchdown drive to give the Buckeyes the lead. The Buckeyes would add a field goal to make it a four point game late in the fourth.

The Wolverines had a shot to win the game but John O’Korn threw a interception on the first play of the drive.

Mike Weber would seal the game with a TD and the Buckeyes beat the Wolverines once again.

Michigan should be kicking themselves because they had chances to win the game today.

The dropped interception by Metellus, the blocked extra point and most of all the poor play by O’Korn cost Michigan the game.

My player of the game today, though, is Rashan Gary. Gary had 10 tackles and two sacks against the Buckeyes today. Gary is a beast for the defense and will be even more exciting next year to watch.
